April 26-28 – Asheville Herb Festival at the Western North Carolina Ag Center, 761 Boylston Hwy, Fletcher, NC 28732. Hours: Friday and Saturday 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m.; Sunday 10:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Free admission, parking, and workshops.
May 3-4 – Asheville Botanical Garden Spring Plant Sale, 12:00-6:00 p.m. Friday and 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Saturday, 151 W.T. Weaver Blvd., Asheville.
May 11 – Annual Spring Plant Sale with Extension Master Gardener℠ Volunteers of Transylvania County, French Broad Gardeners, and Transylvania County Garden Club. 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m., Ingle’s parking lot, 684 N. Broad St., Brevard.
May 18 – Spring Fling Annual Rose and Plant Sale, sponsored by the Asheville Blue Ridge Rose Society, the Buncombe County Master Gardeners, and the Men’s Garden Club of Asheville. Time and location TBA.
May 25-26 – Hendersonville Garden Jubilee, 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. along Main Street, with nearly 200 plant and craft vendors, offered by Friends of Downtown Hendersonville.
