Cacti—are widely grown houseplants with a devoted fan base. Thanksgiving and Christmas cacti are popular holiday gifts and decorations. A few are hardy landscape plants, and some species are native to North Carolina. Extension Master Gardener℠ volunteer Cindy Christian (Pitt Co.) recently updated all the cactus listings in the Plant Toolbox. The revised listings have expanded descriptions, more photos, pronunciation audio recordings, and more information that you can use.
