NC Cooperative Extension Demonstration Gardens

Welcome!

Everyone is invited to explore N.C. Cooperative Extension Demonstration Gardens!

These public teaching gardens have signage identifying plants selected to thrive in the region. Many feature gardens with specific themes, including pollinator gardens, shade gardens, vegetable gardens, composting stations, and more. Some Extension Offices will offer tours and workshops in their gardens.

(Glen,2010, https://catalog.lib.ncsu.edu/catalog/NCSU232508)

You can reach out to your local N.C. Cooperative Extension office to learn more.
