You can put the Plant Toolbox on your phone's home screen just like an app. You'll have an icon on your home screen that takes you directly to the Plant Toolbox home page using your phone's browser.
For iPhone Users
Simply use the Export menu and Add to Home Screen. An icon will appear on your home screen along with your other apps.1. Open the Plant Toolbox in your iPhone's browser.
2. Press the Export icon at the bottom of the screen.
3. Scroll down to find the "Add to Home Screen" function.
4. Tap it. You can shorten the title to "Plant Toolbox" and tap "Add."
On Android Devices
On Android devices, the procedure for creating the home screen icon depends on which browser you use.For the default Android browser (its icon looks like a “globe”)
- Open the browser and go to the Plant Toolbox home page.
- Tap the three vertical dots in the upper right toolbar to display the browser’s menu.
- Tap “Add to Bookmarks.”
- Tap the down-arrow in the “Add to” field and select Home screen from the drop-down menu.
- Tap the title that’s displayed in the “Label” field and rename it Plant Toolbox
- Tap "OK." The icon for the shortcut should now be on your Home screen.
For Google Chrome, please follow these steps:
- Open Chrome and go to the Plant Toolbox home page.
- Tap the three vertical dots in the upper right toolbar to display the browser’s menu.
- Tap “Add to Home screen.”
- Rename the shortcut “Plant Toolbox.” [Chrome will call it an app, but it’s just a shortcut.]
- Tap "Add."
